, changes in system file
so what is system restore
to put this in a simple explanation, computer system restore
is a tool that will enable one to restore their computer or laptop pc back to a time, date (state) when it has no problem.
for instance, you installed a new software program on your computer when it has no problem before installation but after the program must have finished installing which may take some minute, the system started malfunctioning and showing error problem, you can simply perform a system restore to the previous time or date before the last software program was installed and every thing becomes normal.
at times some one may come to me that they have problem which has to do with software program, all i just need to do after finding what went wrong without any success, i will simple restore the computer to the last date before such problem occurred.

Am kind of confuse, what is the difference between system restore and restore pointReplyDelete
I perform system restore almost every day.i was kind of skeptical about the who thing where by one has the option to restore their system when their is fault.so does it mean that system restore do reduce hard disk spaceReplyDelete
@anonymous3, yes it does.when you install a new software,it does create a new restore point and that reduces hard disk space,so each time you perform system restore,it will shrink your hard disk spaceReplyDelete
@anonymous2, restore point create room for system restore.this means that, each time you install new program,it create a restore point to enable you to perform system restore.ReplyDelete
