before one can flash nokia phone using any flashing software like jaf pkey, phoenix, mskey etc, the flash file of the nokia phone must be downloaded using navifirm or from website that has such packages.searching through various website for flash file can be difficult at times especially for a beginner but with the help of this small but mighty software called navifirm, one can download nokia flash files without stress cause all you need is an internet connection.so today i will share with you on how to download nokia phone flash file using navifirm software
in case some of us don't know what this software is, then i will give a brief explanation.
what is navifirm
navifirm is a small piece of software used in downloading Nokia flash files product in different countries and variants.it is the recommended tool for any one who wish to download Nokia flash files packages to flash their phones.the software doesn't even require any form of installation, just download and run it
how to download nokia flash file using navifirm
==> download navifirm and lunch it.it doesn't require installation.make sure you are connected to the internet before opening it.download it here NaviFirm download
from the first box on navifirm, you will see list of nokia phone model e.g nokia 2700.so look for the phone model you want to flash.before downloading any flash file, you must take caution of the RM code number and version of the firmware.you can get it from the phone by dialing *#0000#. when you dial it, you will see some thing like RM-000, and version represented by V= 01.0.
this is just for illustration, so check the phone to get their proper RM-CODE and version.if the phone can not be switched ON, you can check the back of the phone by removing the battery, there you will get it.
still on navifirm, from the first box, click on the nokia model that has the RM-CODE you want to flash.
==> from the second box, the version of the phone will appear.download either the latest version or the version the phone is using, please do not download lower version else you have yourself to be blamed.
at times when you check the back of the phone, you may notice that those information might have been wiped out, so in this case, just download the latest version of the firmware.to know which one to download from the listed version, scroll to the last version on navifirm, then click it.
==> from the third box, you will see different variant of the firmware, look for any and download.most time i download India, china, Philippine.you can download which ever you like.
==> when you click on any variant, you will see the download option from the forth box.all you need to do is to tick all the flash files and click on the download button at the bottom, it will ask you to show where to download it into your computer, i will recommend creating a new folder for each phone model for easy reference.
