to become a fully admitted student in any university in Nigeria, there are certain verification process that must be undertaken by freshers in order to check the authenticity of their documents.well, Niger Delta University (NDU) is not an exception.NDU 2012/2013 admission clearance may soon commence and a lot of student are preparing for it.if you are reading this today, then count yourself lucky because i will explain the procedures and guidelines on how to carry on your NDU 2012/2013 admission clearance in order not to have difficulty in the process
well, clearance in NDU is a little bit stressful as one need to make sure that they meet up with the deadline because the school academic session is always coming up early, so therefore, all freshers are expected to process their clearance before payment of school fees but don't be surprised that lecture might be going on while clearance is still on leaving some student backward but if you want to make your clearance to be easy for you without much stress, then follow the guidelines i am going to share with you bellow.
they have two process, the online and manual.the online comes first before the manual verification,please take the time to read and digest this info for your own good. so lets get started.

NDU 2012/2013 admission clearance procedures and guidelines
==> if you have been given admission into NDU, then the first thing to do is to download your admission letter at www.ndu.ac.
to do this, visit www.ndu.ac and insert your jamb registration number into the box you will see to download your admission letter.
==> after you have successfully downloaded your admission letter, go to any one of the school bank branch at yenagoa or (diamond bank) inside the school at the engineering block to purchase your clearance epin.
with out the epin, you can't process any thing else.
==> if you have bought yours, then go to any cybercafe (there are lots of guys outside the school gate that are processing it but most of them are not student and may not know how to do it better with regards to the right images jpg size that ndu requires for document uploads, so i will advise you meet a professional like me to process it for you outside the school gate).
please do not make the mistake of going to the ETF BUILDING if you have not successfully carried out your online clearance because that is one of the biggest mistake freshers do make and after wasting so much time standing on the queue, then they will realize the huge mistake they have made.
do not waste your time trying to struggle yourself to the queue at the back of NDU ETF BUILDING if your online clearance has not been done because that is only when your documents will appear on their system, so ignore going there even if your friends has gone there around 7am cause its a waste of time and delay.take note of that please and please.
==> after processing, now you can go to the back of NDU ETF BUILDING to do the manual verification.
==> when done with that, they will tell you to go and pay school fees.just go to the bank at engineering block to pay yours including SU dues ( Student Union )
==> after payment of school fees, its time for you to pay your faculty and departmental dues at the lecture theater.just go to the front of lecture theater, you will see most department and their finsec that are in charge of collection of the payments.
==> after that, then you can go to your faculty to collect your course enrollment form by presenting all your documents including your SCHOOL FEES, SUG, FACULTY, DEPARTMENTAL dues receipt and other documents
fill the course enrollment form with the correct details, courses and their course codes and take it to the various officers to sign, starting from your HOD=>F.O (faculty officer)=>DEAN.
==> after that, you will have to go to your department to collect your small green card to fill your courses and submit them back as soon as possible.
==> after that, you have to perform a medical test, you will have to provide your feases (shit), urine, etc and take it to those in charge of testing at the school college (CHS).
still on medical checks, you will be directed to go to yenagoa glory land X-ray center to make an X-ray which you will then take to the school sick bay for other checks.
when done with it, you are done with clearance, if you need an hostel accommodation, then go to the school student affair units which is not far from the school gate to collect hostel application form.please go there with your school fees receipt and other documents.
you may also want to request for library id card.to do this, just go to the school library which is not far from the ETF BUILDING opposite school field.that's all.
please make sure you come along with all your documents like
birth certificate or age declaration
waec or neco result
jamb result
local government identification letter
as for the school fees, you can find details on the admission letter you downloaded.also apart from the cost of clearance epin and school fees, you can budget up to #50000 or even more, yes, up to that because you will have to spend in terms of things to buy and photocopy and other expense like transport, feeding, etc.you will surely remember and tell the story of what you passed through during the process.
NOTICE: NDU have started sale of epin and online clearance only, as for the manual verification, they will alert you as to when to come for it, so please go to the school environment and walk to any of their designated bank to purchase your epin and start your online clearance.i am currently at the school premises so if you want me buy for you, you can contact me.wish you guys best of luck.
if you follow this process, be rest assured that your clearance would be less stressful for you.
OTHER VITAL INFORMATION YOU MAY LIKE TO KNOW
==> NDU is a school that will ring a bell into your ear with a welcome message known as WAF (Withdrawal from Academic Failure), so be prepared for serious reading as a fresher
==> as at the time of writing this post, there is no light in the school environment, so if you are the type that is used to AC(air condition), then be ready to budget for one man carryer generator cause through out your schooling there, you may not be opportune to flex PHCN LIGHT except you go to the university campus
==> if you normally eat three square mill a day, then be ready to go on 101 OR 011 etc because
1, food stuff is not that cheap and
2, lectures and academic works may prevent you from eating three square mill.
==> housing accommodation is an hot cake, so any room you see, no form ajebuter because sharp guys will park into the house overnight for there is no room for formins
==> if you like partying and clubbing, am sorry to break your heart because, there is no room for that in ndu but there is one bar at the sand field road know as bekybar, where students go to enjoy them self with a bell ringing on their ear WAF WAF WAF.
==> lastly, in NDU, students cannot insult, shout, slap, fight in public, do that and you may see yourself in front of senate the next morning.

ReplyDelete@anonymous, ndu is known to be a school that starts their academic program on time and also start exam early so if you want to stay at home when they have resume due to your own reasons, then you would have to think twice because lecture waits for no one.

Pls there few things I wl like 2 ask u; concernin d hostel, is it given 2 every studnt dat is in need of it or is it 4 only those their names came on merit list and d price should be like hw much. My oda questn is, d birth certificate and L.G.A identificatn letter; must they be there b4 d clearance can take place or can time be given to those their L.G.A is far after d clearance they can go 4 it. How u seeam?
ReplyDelete@anonymous, every student both( old and new will have to apply for hostel,so if you are lucky,they would give you and vise versa.as for the birth and lga, make sure you come along with it including other document.
