every state in Nigeria has postal code. when filling registration form online, getting to the ending part, lots of us are being asked to provide their country's zip code or postal code and if you don't know it, you will get stuck.well, it is very important to provide the right postal code in nigeria so that people can be able to locate you without much stress.knowing your state postal code in nigeria will help you in getting most of your goods, parcel, gifts sent from abroad to Nigeria via either nipost, dhl, fedex ems etc.so today i am going to share with you on how to find your state postal code in nigeria
people do make mistake in putting other state postal code in Nigeria when filling form online and that will lead to delay in getting what ever they sent to you from foreign countries.also as a blogger that is about to register adsense account, you will need postal code of your state in Nigeria to complete your adsense application else your adsense checque will be on hold until you confirm your address which is due as a result of wrong address or postal code.so follow this step to get yours
how to find nigeria postal code of each state
==> visit www.nipost.gov.ng
==> scroll down and click on postal code finder or just go direct through this link www.nigeriapostcodes.com. at the left side of the page, you will see urban postal code search and rural postal code search click on either rural or urban.please take note of rural and urban option because that is how you will get the correct postal code of your address.rural is mostly village outskirt of the town or city while urban is mostly city part of the state.
==> after clicking any of the option above.from the next page, you will have to choose your state, town, area, street name e.g
state => the state you reside (lagos)
TOWN => the town you reside in the state (ikorodu)
AREA => the area or place in the TOWN
STREET => the street you stay in that AREA
after filling the form correctly, click on get postal code.it will display the postal code and all town that is using it.but if you didn't find your town or street in the list, try using the other option like rural.that's all.ENJOY.
