How To Manually Install ADB Android USB Drivers On Windows Computer.some people are finding it difficult installing ADB android usb drivers on their windows computer such as windows 7, windows 8 or windows 8.1 etc. This could be as a result of the drivers not having a set up file such as .exe which is usual extension made for computer software.you may find it difficult installing this kind of software especially if you just come across it for the first time. The only files you will see inside is a text file which makes every thing seems confusing but this should not scare you as there is a way you can manually install ADB Android USB drivers on your windows computer be it windows 7, windows 8, windows 8.1, windows 10 etc.this post is made for those making use of windows 7 operating system.as for windows 8 and windows 8.1, there is a privacy protection lock which prevent you from installing unsigned software via legacy program.you will get an error when trying to make use of this manual process to install such kinds of files on your computer.before you can do this on windows 8 operating system, you will have to disable privacy protection.i will cover this on my next post on how to disable privacy protection on windows 8 operating system.

like i had said, this will be for those who have windows 7 computer but you can still go ahead to install it on windows 8 and windows 8.1 operating system as i have confirmed it is signed and can be accepted when installing via legacy program.but if you are trying to install other program via this method such as vcom mtk mediatek drivers and others, you will get error that the software is not signed if using windows 8 operating system, this is why it is important to disable privacy protection.

Follow the steps below to manually install ADB Android USB Drivers on your computer or pc.
Install ADB Android USB Drivers Manually on your computer
click on start on your computer and right click on COMPUTER
from the option that will display, click on MANAGE
it will display the windows to manage devices. from the windows, scroll to the left hand side, there you will see list of options, scroll to where you will see device manager. click on it
it will display an option on in the center of the window after clicking device manager, just highlight any of the option in the center display window
after highlighting any option, scroll to the top and click on ACTION=>ADD LEGACY HARDWARE
it will take you to a window, click next button.from the next page, it will display two options.select the second option that says Install the hardware that i manually select from a list (advance)
from the next page, click next, it will take you to the next page, click on next again.
from the next page, it will ask you to select the device driver you want to install for the hardware, just scroll to where you will see Have Disk and click on it
it will take you to the next page, there, just click on the browse button.
it will ask you to find where you store the adb usb drivers, just find it on your computer
from the folder of the driver, search for a file called android_winusb. and click it.
it will display the android drivers package, just click next button and next to install it.wait for the installation to complete
it will be added to your computer.to confirm this, go to your device manager, you will see android ADB interface
ignore the yellow triangle it will display on the interface if you see one.it doesn't matter.the android adb drivers has been installed successfully.
