Wirecast HTTP Error 403 : How I Fix Wirecast Error 403 For Youtube

Wirecast HTTP Error 403 : How I Fix Wirecast Error 403 For YouTube. Have you been trying to connect wirecast for youtube and you got an error message such as "Error requesting events from server/ HTTP ERROR 403 " and you are stuck in between the process. I know how it feels, especially after you've been redirected to authenticate your YouTube account with wirecast to enable you carry out live web broadcasting. Even after you've successfully authenticate your wirecast for YouTube, you still got the same authentication, error Updating Live Broadcast Data To The Server  http error 403 .well, i had same error After downloading telestream wirecast software for youtube to enable me perform live web broadcasting on youtube, i tried to authenticate login of wirecast for YouTube but got http error 403 on wirecast software.

Wirecast HTTP Error 403

This keeps happening and i kept asking why.since i just installed it, don't know my way around it. I had to look for solution to fix the issue because i can't be getting successful authentication without the live web broadcasting software not responding. After series of error and trial, i finally got a fix on Wirecast HTTP Error 403 .

I thought the issue was coming from my end because i have not activated the YouTube live stream Beta features on my YouTube channel. So i finally activated live stream and set it up on YouTube but still got the same Error requesting events from server/ HTTP ERROR 403 . I went further to find solution, maybe i was not doing some thing right. From one of the post i read, they mentioned some thing about Server URL and Stream name/key. I had to look for the Server URL and Stream name/key from my YouTube live stream settings which i got and inserted it on wirecast in the RTMP Server output settings. Thought the problem would be resolved but unfortunately, when i tried to use YouTube authentication to connect, it gave same error. The issue seems to be from both side, especially when you make use of direct YouTube output option to connect wirecast to YouTube.

To fix this issue, you will have to make use of RTMP Server output option to carry out the live stream instead of using wirecast for YouTube directly to authenticate the request. This way the issue will be resolved. So if you find yourself in this same problem, here is how i fixed it.

How To Fix Wirecast HTTP Error 403

below is the solution to fix error Updating Live Broadcast Data To The Server

Error requesting events from server/ HTTP ERROR 403

==> launch your Wirecast for YouTube

==> scroll to the top menu, click on Output

it will bring up the output settings options and on the first list, you will see RTMP Server .select it and click ok

it will take you to the RTMP Server settings where you have to input your YouTube Server URL and Stream name/key for live streaming events. To get your Server URL and Stream name/key, follow the process below

How To Get Youtube Server URL and Stream name/key For Live Streaming

==> login to your YouTube account

==> click on My Channel at the left side bar

==> scroll to the top and click on Video Manager

now, at the left side bar, click On Live Stream=>Livestream Beta.

From the next page, you will see your live scream page, just scroll down and look for the Server URL and Stream name/key option. There you will have to copy both the Server URL and Stream name/key. To see your Stream name/key, just click on the Reveal Button.copy it down on notepad. You will need that to fully fix the error.

==> Now go back to wirecast software, still on the RTMP Server option, scroll down to the box where you will see Address , inside the address box, you will see some thing like " rtmp://localhost:1935/live, replace it with the Server URL which is rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2

==> now scroll down to the next box which is called Stream, inside it you will see some thing like Mystream . now Replace it with the Youtube Stream name/key

Click Ok Button.now you are good to go

==> Go to your wirecast live dashboard to start your live broadcasting. Do not select YouTube output for authentication again. No need to use that option since you want to make use of the RTMP Server output option, which is why we are making use of the YouTube Server URL and Stream name/key

So just click on the stream button to start your live stream.

To see if its live, go to your YouTube live stream, click on the Stream Beta. There you will see it in offline mode. Just wait for it to come up

if you want other people to see your live streaming, then you will have to share your YouTube channel or live stream video url link. They will see your live web broadcast. that was how i fixed Wirecast HTTP Error 403
