to do this, its either you are using mobile phone or computer.the method to do this for each device is different but will get same result.i will start with computer, so follow the steps below to get it done

==> if you are using computer, then logging to your Facebook account and scroll to the upper right side on the home page, you will see something like a triangle after the padlock shape, click on the triangular shape
==> a drop down list will come up, scroll to where you will see news feed preferences, click on it
==> a dialog window will pop up, scroll down to where you will see groups and click it.there you will see all the groups you have joined and close to each of them, you will see following.
just click on the following and start to unfollow any of them you wish to stop their post from appearing on your Facebook news feed
after doing this, you won't see the post made on the group on your news feed.you will start seeing most of your friends post instead of group post
for those using mobile phone, you will have to click each groups, then scroll down to the bottom and click on group info
after clicking info, from the next page that shows up, scroll down to where you will see unfollow group and click it to unfollow the group.
