to make your image more fit even when it is viewed on mobile device, you will have to resize the image to the proper Facebook recommended size which is 600 X 315.

make sure that the image you intend to use has high resolution and quality so that even after you resized it, it will still have its quality.
make use of any image editing software like photoshop, corel draw, or even microsoft paint that comes with your computer.resize it to 600 X 315.what this means is that the width will be 600 while the height will be 315.after resizing,the image will fit in well on both facebook desktop view and mobile view.
if after resizing and the image does not fit as a result of reducing the concept of the image, then you can just leave it the way it was.hope this helps.
